Application for Redevelopment Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project need not comply with the requirements of the State’s Design Manual for quantity control.

Project Description: | The project has an approximate area of 2.46 acres and is located Northeast at the existing K-Lot parking lot off Greenspring Ave. The project will consist of a new parking garage building with pedestrian walkways through new curb islands. The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide stormwater management through the use of two micro-bioretention facilities to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 1.38 ac of this project. The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 1.02 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 1.02 ac of this project.
