Application for Qualitative and Quantitative Control Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control and quantitative control waivers.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.70 acres and is located southeast at the intersection of S Hanover Street and Cherry Hill Road. The project will consist of a new MRI wing in replacement of one of the existing ones. Construction of the replacement addition and transportation of the medical equipment will require implementation of a temporary haul road. This imperviousness is temporary and the area disturbed will be restored to pre-developed conditions.
The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 0.34 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant is required to provide qualitative control controls for 0.12 ac of this new-development project.
The Applicant is requesting a quantitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-1 of the City Code for direct, concentrated discharge of stormwater to tidal waters.
