Application for Qualitative and Quantitative Control Waiver and Variance
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control and quantitative control waivers.

Project Description: | The project has an approximate area of 4.44 acres and is located southwest at the intersection of E Baltimore St and S Linwood Av. The project will consist of a redesign of two baseball fields in Ortmann Field to address poor drainage and ADA accessibility. The Applicant has demonstrated that on-site water quality control is not practicable. The Applicant will satisfy the water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management] for 0.07 ac of this project. The Applicant will satisfy the quantitative controls requirements for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 4.44 ac of ac of this project. The Applicant is requesting a variance in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-4 of the City Code for approximately 107 cubic feet of recharge volume. The Applicant has demonstrated that infiltration practices are not feasible due to the hydrologic soil group.
