The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for new development, qualitative control waiver and quantitative control waiver.

Project Description: | The project has an approximate site area of ±0.716 acres and is located approximately 125’ to the east of Moyer Avenue, and bound by Chesley Avenue to the north and Woodring Avenue to the south. The project will consist of new construction for multiple residential dwellings – two (2) detached dwellings and two (2) semi-detached dwellings – with a proposed subdivision to create six (6) new lots with six (6) new residences. There will be private hardscaping and landscaping as well as public works improvements and associated non-structural stormwater management practices. The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7 §23-2(1) of the Baltimore City Code. This will satisfy the any potential remaining water quality control requirements for any disturbed area within Baltimore City right-of-way which will be returned to predevelopment runoff conditions for improvements requiring disturbance for 0.024 acres of this project. The Applicant is requesting a Stormwater Management Variance for Untreated Impervious Area (Quality Control Waiver) to be addressed through payment of a fee-in-lieu of meeting quality control requirements for impervious surfaces requiring treatment. The Applicant is requesting a Stormwater Management Variance for Increase in Impervious Area (Quantitative Control Waiver) to be addressed through payment of fee-in-lieu of meeting quantity control requirements for channel protection volume, overbank protection volume and extreme flood control volume.
