Application for Redevelopment, Qualitative and Quantitative Control Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control and quantitative control waivers.

Project Description: | The project has an approximate area of 0.28 acres and is located at the intersection of Cannery, Asiatic, and Petrolia Avenues. The project will consist of the rehabilitation of the clarifier and gravity sludge thickener tanks at the plant. The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will treat 50% of existing impervious project. AND The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 0.10-acre project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 0.10 acres this project. The Applicant has demonstrated that on-site water quality control is not practicable. The Applicant will satisfy the water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.06 acres this project. The Applicant will satisfy the quantitative controls requirements for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.06 ac of this project.
