Application for Qualitative Control Waiver & Redevelopment Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control and quantitative control waivers.

Project Description: | The project has an approximate area of 0.71 acres and is located west of the intersection of Broening Highway & Beckley Street. The project will consist of the replacement of the existing guard house with a new prefabricated guard house with accessible restroom, associated site improvements include new concrete & structural pads, pavement striping, equipment installation, and widening of the internal drive lane. The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 0.11 acres of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 0.11 acres of this project. The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.15 acres of this project.
