Application for Quantity and Quality Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for quantity and quality waiver. If granted, the waiver would allow construction of this project to be governed by the rules and requirements of Baltimore City’s Ordinance 10-277.
Applicant: The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works and C.C.Johnson & Malhotra, P.C., 1025 Connecticut Avenue N.W., Suite 1017, Washington DC, 20036.
Project Description: C.C.Johnson & Malhotra is proposing to rehabilitate the pumping station and install approximately 900 linear feet of 10” sanitary sewer force main. The force main will be installed as open cut installation. All disturbed areas will be replaced and repaired in kind.
In order to meet the 2007 Baltimore City SWM Ordinance requirements for the proposed improvements, waivers for stormwater management water quality and quantity control are requested. The project will not create any new impervious surfaces and all disturbed area will be returned to its original condition. Therefore a water quality waiver is requested. A water quantity waiver is requested since this project will return the area to its original predevelopment flow rates to the stormwater management outfall points.
