Application for Redevelopment Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a Redevelopment waiver. If granted, the waiver would allow the construction of this project to be governed by the rules and requirements of to Baltimore City’s Ordinance 10-277. The applicant must provide stormwater management for the proposed project whether or not the waiver is granted.
Applicant: Mi Casa, Inc. – A Developer of Affordable Homes, 6230 Third Street NW, Suite 2, Washington, DC 20011
Project Description: The Project Site has an area of 10,359 square feet or 0.238 acres, more or less. The applicant is proposing to renovate 12 existing single family residences and make improvements to the back yards. Some sidewalk will be reconstructed will be constructed to allow for vehicle traffic to the alley.
The Applicant is requesting a Redevelopment Waiver in accordance with Section 23-7(C)(3) of the City Code. The project meets the applicable requirements by reduction of impervious area of at least 50% of the site’s existing impervious area within the limits of disturbance.
