DPW’s Election Day Closures and Service Interruptions Tuesday, November 4, 2014

BALTIMORE MD (October 27, 2014) - Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., reminds residents that Election Day is a City holiday and that DPW offices will be closed Tuesday, November 4, 2014.

NO TRASH AND RECYCLING COLLECTIONS: There will be no curbside trash and recycling collections in Baltimore City. Makeup Trash and Recycling Day is Saturday, November 8 for those whose collections are on Tuesday.

DPW’s YARDS CLOSED: All Citizen Convenience Centers WILL BE CLOSED, including Quarantine Road Landfill.

MECHANICAL STREET SWEEPING: There will be no Mechanical Street Sweeping on Election Day.

BULK TRASH: There will be no bulk trash collection scheduled on Election Day.

PARKING METERS: Parking meters will be in effect on Election Day.

POLLING PLACES WILL BE OPEN - PLEASE VOTE!
