          Water Restored After Steam Explosion
        and Water Main Break in Downtown Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD. (Monday, May 15, 2023) - Businesses can now breathe a sigh of relief as water has been restored after an explosion and water main break caused a water outage at the Marriott Inner Harbor and Hilton Baltimore.

Motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists in the area of W. Pratt Street should use caution and plan ahead for traffic delays. Traffic updates along W. Pratt Street have been updated as follows:

  • Two lanes open eastbound Pratt Street (between Greene Street and Howard Street)
  • Eutaw Street remains closed indefinitely

Access to the Marriott Hotel is only being maintained via Lombard Street.
