Wednesday Jun 3rd, 2020
Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Acting Director Matthew W. Garbark today announced that DPW has published its 2019 Water Quality Report. The report shows that the water that we provide to residential and commercial customers continues to meet or exceed regulatory standards.
“The 2019 Water Quality Report shows that Baltimore continues to provide safe, high-quality water for the health and safety of those we serve,” said Acting DPW Director Garbark.
This annual report informs residents where the City’s drinking water comes from, how the water is treated, what chemicals it contains, and how it meets federal standards for tap water.
The report, also known as the Consumer Confidence Report, is available online for Baltimore City and County residents to review.
This is the third year that DPW has used electronic delivery to distribute its Water Quality Report. Water customers are being notified of the availability of the 2019 Water Quality Report via a message printed on their water bills.
They will see the web address that will take them directly the report at publicworks.baltimorecity.gov/waterreport.
Printed copies are available upon request by calling 311 (for Baltimore City residents) or (410) 396-5352 (for Baltimore County residents).
Previous years’ reports are also available on the DPW website.
