Veterans Day Closures and Service Interruptions

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., reminds residents that Veterans Day will be observed as a City holiday on Friday, November 10, 2017, and that DPW offices will be closed on that day.

NO TRASH AND RECYCLING COLLECTIONS: There will be no trash and recycling collections that day in Baltimore City. Make-up Trash and Recycling Day is Saturday, November 11 for those whose collections are on Friday.

DPW YARDS CLOSED: All Citizen Convenience Centers will be CLOSED, including the Quarantine Road Landfill.

MECHANICAL STREET SWEEPING: There will be NO Mechanical Street Sweeping on November 10. Street Sweeping parking restrictions will NOT be in effect that day.

BULK TRASH: There will be NO bulk trash collection scheduled on the Veterans Day holiday.

PARKING METERS: Parking meters WILL be in effect on November 10 and November 11.
