BALTIMORE, MD -- Today, Baltimore City Department of Public Works Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., issued the following statement regarding the latest development following the incident of workplace violence this week: 

I am pleased that Mr. Cole turned himself in to police, sparing further harm and concern to family, friends, co-workers and the general public. I appreciate the continuing efforts of the Baltimore City Police Department to investigate this tragic episode, as well as the kind words of support we’ve received from members of the public.

The entire Baltimore City Department of Public Works family will continue working to heal and grow together. And I also wish for peace upon the families of Mr. Cole and Mr. Johnson.
