DPW Announces Weather-Related Service Change

BALTIMORE, MD – Director Rudolph S. Chow has announced that due to the extreme hot weather, Public Works’ trash and recycling collection services will begin at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21.

  • Bulk collections will occur as scheduled. As a reminder, bulk collections must be scheduled by calling 311.
  • Mechanical street sweeping will occur as scheduled.
  • Citizen drop-off centers will remain OPEN as scheduled.
