June 19, 2014 (BALTIMORE, MD) — Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., today announced that DPW will be holding a special one day Independence Day sale on our popular yellow recycling bins. This is an opportunity to declare your independence from wastefulness and to begin that All-American habit of recycling.

Because City offices are closed on July 4, the sale will take place on Tuesday, July 1.  To celebrate 7/4, the popular 25-gallon bins will be reduced in price to just $7.00, a $5.00 discount! Our durable 18 gallon bins will be sold for just $4.00, $1.00 off the normal price. Lids for the larger bins will also be available for purchase at $3.00 each.

When: Tuesday, July 1; 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Where: The lobby of the Abel Wolman Municipal Building, 200 Holliday Street.

With each purchase during this period buyers will also receive a FREE American flag, suitable for car, office or home.

We hold these truths to be self-evident that recycling is good for Baltimore and for our United States.
