City Holiday - Veterans Day (observed)

BALTIMORE, MD (November 6, 2012) - Director Alfred H. Foxx reminds Baltimore City residents that since Veterans Day is a City holiday, Department of Public Works’ offices and yards will be CLOSED, Monday, November 12, 2012, a holiday.

 
VETERANS DAY:
  •     This is NOT a regularly scheduled trash or recycling day. 
  •     Leaf collections will NOT be scheduled for November 12th. 
  •     NO BULK TRASH collections are scheduled. 
  •     Street sweeping will NOT take place. 
  •     Citizen drop-off centers WILL BE CLOSED (all yards including Quarantine Road Landfill, the Northwest Transfer Station and the Eastern, Western and Northwest Collections Facilities). 
  •      Parking meters will be in effect.
