Millington Avenue Gas Main Break Update

As Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE) continues the process of restoring natural gas service to customers affected by Tuesday’s gas and water main breaks, the Baltimore City Government continues outreach efforts in the impacted communities of Carrollton Ridge and Mill Hill.

In order to provide a more convenient Customer Care Center, the location at Bentalou Recreation Center has been closed, and a new location has been established at:

Samuel Morse Recreation Center
424 S. Pulaski Street
Baltimore, MD 21223

Hours of Operation for the Center are as follows:

TODAY 1 p.m. - midnight
Friday 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

BGE, Public Works, Housing and other agencies will continue to work together to insure a successful conclusion to this event. We will also provide updates to residents as the situation evolves.

Citizens are reminded to be careful when using any approved electrical heating devices. Kerosene heaters and gas generators within the home are illegal and extremely dangerous.
